This Cookie Policy explains how Quote Forge Ltd (“Quote Forge”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies when you use Quote Forge.

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as sessionStorage, can also store information on your device. We refer to both as cookies and similar technologies in this policy.

Necessary storage

We use necessary storage to provide and secure Quote Forge, keep users signed in and remember cookie preferences. This storage cannot be disabled through our Cookie settings because parts of the service would not work correctly without it.

Supabase authentication cookies

Name: sb-<project-reference>-auth-token, including related or chunked variants

Provider: Supabase

Purpose: Keeps you signed in and allows your authenticated session to be refreshed.

Duration: Up to 400 days after being set or refreshed, unless you sign out or the cookie is removed sooner.

The exact cookie name includes Quote Forge’s Supabase project reference. You can read Supabase’s Privacy Policy for more information.

Quote Forge cookie preferences

Name: qf_storage_consent

Provider: Quote Forge

Purpose: Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional storage so we can respect your choice on future visits.

Duration: 183 days from your most recently saved choice.

If our use of optional storage changes materially, we may ask you to make a new choice before activating it.

Optional storage

Optional storage remains disabled unless you make a positive choice to allow it.

Sentry Session Replay

Name: sentryReplaySession

Provider: Sentry

Purpose: Supports Session Replay, which records masked interactions such as navigation, clicks and scrolling to help us diagnose problems and improve Quote Forge.

Type: sessionStorage, rather than a cookie

Duration: Until the relevant browser session ends or Replay is stopped.

Session Replay is configured so that text and input values are masked and images, video and other media are blocked. We do not start or buffer Replay activity before you consent.

Your choices

When no valid preference has been saved, our cookie banner lets you accept all optional storage, reject it or review your options.

You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the website footer. Turning Session Replay off stops future Replay recording. It does not delete Replay information that was sent before you withdrew consent.

Rejecting Session Replay does not disable ordinary error monitoring, tracing or performance diagnostics. These functions do not record a Session Replay or create the sentryReplaySession entry while Replay is disabled.

Quote Forge does not currently use cookies or similar browser storage for advertising or general audience analytics.

Stripe-hosted pages

Subscription checkout and billing management take place on pages hosted by Stripe. Cookies and similar technologies used on those pages are controlled by Stripe and cannot be managed through Quote Forge’s Cookie settings.

Managing or deleting storage

The Cookie settings control in the footer is the easiest way to manage optional storage.

You can also inspect, block or delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting necessary storage may sign you out, prevent authentication from working correctly or cause Quote Forge to ask for your cookie choice again.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our use of cookies and similar technologies changes or to reflect legal, regulatory or operational developments. We will update the date at the top of this page when we make changes.

If we introduce a new optional purpose or make a material change that is not covered by your existing choice, we will ask you to make a new choice before activating it.
